Xantia fuel indicator (Low fuel)

Any advice on how to fix this problem....with fuel indection on dest board....its always show low fuel.
After filing full tank...its show low fuel

Sender is on the pump in the tank, maybe u/s or stuffed up with dirt....

It is easy to get to. let fuel get low, lift up rear seat, look for the big bung on the RH side and under here you can find the top of the sender/pump assembly held in the tank via a big round threaded collar. Disconnect, undo this collar with care and then lift the assembly out.

You will then see the sender float and potentiometer...
