New member from St Neots in Cambs, driving a Citröen C6

In the past I've also owned a C5, two Xantias, two BX and a 2CV

My other 'toy' is a supercharged MX5

What supercharger is on the mx-5? Did you do the work yourself?

It's the Eaton M45 as found on the Mini Cooper S, I did most of the work myself but got some help with getting some 6-rib pulleys machined up and the ECU installation, although in hindsight, I'd be willing to tackle those myself were I do to it again

I fitted a 17% reduction pulley last week and got it remapped on Tuesday and it's now putting out 225bhp at the crank (bit of an improvement over the stock 147 )

I am sure as well with your experience with Tune/Mods/Re-Maps that you will get a good few questions and requests for your option on matters.
I for instance will have re-map/de-cat/exaust questions soon for a V6....a winter project that may need some recommendations and links to sources/material

Trumpet him melodiously at first, but if he still obstacles your passage then tootle him with vigor." but, seriously, if you can consider machining pulleys & ECU installations many of us (at least I hope it's not just me) might be struggling to offer practical assistance - on the other hand (4 fingers & a thumb?) you might find people queuing to ask favours.

Well, if it's purely mechanical, I can probably deal with it. But when it comes to the Lexia, DPF and electronic can bus sort of stuff, that's where I am not quite so up-to-date.

That being said, after a LOT of faffing with tape measures and finding a suitably level piece of concrete, I've finally managed to reprogram the reference height on the car after getting some suspension bushes replaced

Yes indeed. I'm a dedicated peddler and do more miles by bike than I do in the cars...

We don't,a s a rule, wear suits Alasdair. Too much risk of getting oil on the trousers or getting the coat tails trapped in the chain.. Most of us prefer a nice stretchy little Lycra number with a padded bum
