04 scenic no start - brake pedal

Friend needs a hand and i'm not renault savvy, heres what he posted

Mum's car would start, garage said was working behind clutch/break they bodged it so ot has to be computer reset otherwise it still won't starr, bought a fault code reset reader from eBay to no resolve


Its throwing an electrical fault on the display and not starting. What can we do?

Well, first I would get it onto the correct diagnostic kit. I believe the correct device is called a Clip (I am NOT sure of this). French cars have this habit of confusing generic fault readers!
