I have just bought an exclusive version of this car and I have a couple of queries. I can't find the answer to the first in the manual.
So, first: should this car have headlight washers? There are the two square 'lids' in the bumper, below the headlights. I have only tried to operate them by turning on windscreen washing. Does the engine have to be running to allow the power headlamp washing? Or are they operated somehow different?
The other query is again washer-related. The pipe leading to the rear wash/wipe is broken between the bodywork and the boot lid (which is electrically-operated). Is this a known problem? If so, is there an easy way to fix it?

IF they are anything like the ones I had on my company Skoda Octavia, the headlight washers only come into play when the headlights are on (as the system uses a LOT of screen wash, as it uses hydraulic pressure to erect the nozzles, provided by the screen wash itself!), and, for the same reason, the headlights were only washed 1 time out of 5 when the washers were triggered during that session of the engine running.

If you have xenon headlamps, you'll have the washers, otherwise, no (standard equipment of course, if someone fiddled aftermarket, that's another story) ... Yep, welcome on board, I'm just preparing to go to my Dealer tomorrow to get the pipe ordered ... 3-4 years tops is the max life for them it seems ... you could try putting a rubber pipe over the plastic pipes, but depending on the rubber quality, it'll break sooner or later as well ...
