Brought a new car

I`ve decieded after 9 years of ownership its not worth fixing my 406.On the other hand its too good to scrap.Late SE,half leather,sat nav etc.Will stick it on ebay for offers or highest bid.
Anyway,i`ve brought a newer car.So,have i stuck with french cars??(Xantia,the 406)or gone different??any guesses lol

I like the 407, very under-rated but if you ever have to swap a front wishbone that is about the most PITA'ing job in the world..

An order of magnitude worse than a Xantia heater matrix

If you do need to, speak as I now know all the tricks... Learned the hard way a few weeks back

Yes,i think its much better looking as the SW.Its got full red leather heated memory etc,glass roof,xenons,big screen sat nav,parking sensors,not sure about the jbl stereo.Its got 156k miles on it,but had a new dmf and clutch last year.£1500

.If it lasts a year,i`ll be happy.My 406 hdi 110 has gone 213k miles till the engine problem.So its 5 years newer,and 60k less than mine.

Hopefully it will do that 5 years or 60k without too many problems. I think you said it's a 2.2hdi. Is it the twin turbo, 173 bhp I think it is.
