Looking for Speedo Cable

Hello to all from Bretagne,

we cannot find a speedo cable anywhere on-line for our 1999 Peugeot Boxer 230P, 1.9td, RHD.

Can anyone help - Peugeot main dealers has been suggested but it would probably cost an arm and a leg.

Its the type that is held into the gearbox by a long rubber clevis-pin type of thing.

I take it you've tried the usual gsfcarparts and eurocarparts?

If so, try malcolm lockwood? You probably won't find it online from him (if it's not in his downloadable catalogue, don't just assume he can't get it - give him a call instead).

We tried everywhere, and Malcolm Lockwood.

No luck anywhere, even New Zealand and Australia.

Just when we were comtemplating a Speedo Cable Repair Kit, a chap put one on eBay UK.

He gets then made and sells them. He had the same problem as us a few years back.

Cable arrived and fitted - nice quality.
