EGR solenoid

Hi all, which of the three valves is my EGR valve on the xsara? Is it the one with the blue plug on the right? which of the pipes do I take off to test my car without the egr operation? It feels a bit sluggish sometimes and has a slight flat spot around 2k. I think it's the one with T piece
I disconenct that block the T so it sucks across? Do I disconnect the plug too? Thanks

Cant remember which one is which off hand but the easiest way is to just disconnect & block the vaccum pipe that goes directly onto the EGR valve. The only problem is if the EGR valve is physically jammed open at all this wont have any effect, the best way is to remove the EGR valve & fit a blanking plate to it.

ah right, so optimal would be full closed? and its fully open it's mixing all the time? i don't think it's fully open though. Is the actual EGR valve the silver UFO thing on the left of the back side, seems a bit of a pain to get to.
