Simple question of the day...
I seem to be in coolant change mode at the moment, given that the 107 had its done at the weekend and I did the Saab's today (and made a horrible mess while doing so!), figure the Xantia should be up next, especially given what it looks like.
I just realised though that given the age of the Xantia it could well use OAT coolant.
Can anyone confirm what type of coolant I should pick up for it? Or should I just see what colour what comes out is and base my decision on that?
98 S plate 1.9TD Xantia (XUD9TE engine).

Give it a flush with fresh water, and then use the coolant of your choice.

Having seen the scale deposits in my cars in the past and the large amount in the back-up V6 engine, I ONLY every use Distilled water on refilling and Mix to the correct %

Yep, distilled water down here!
Used to be fine using tap water when I was up in Aberdeenshire, but not down here...especially given that MK water is rather on the hard side! Not as bad as it was when we were in Oxford mind you! Descaling the kettle literally every week anyone?
I'll just see what comes out then and stick with the same type. Will need to scavenge a pop bottle to make a filler funnel for as I recall that being important as far as bleeding the system is concerned.
