I had a technical inspection today and shortly after I drove out the car suddenly stopped. I tried to start the car but it was clear that something is wrong. After I lifted up the bonnet I saw that one of the connections on the fuel filter has jumped off. I pushed it back and primed the filter a couple of times and the car started again. But now there is a warning lamp that is constantly glowing. It illuminates a K letter ( and an egine or pump picture) and it does not disappear when the engine is running. How can I fix this and could it be that something got damaged during the fuel filter connection pop off.

The K light is to indicate an engine problem. Sometimes this needs to be reset with the aid of a Lexia, other times this will clear itself if there are no issues after the car has been run a few times.

Fortunately the K light cleared by itself and everything is ok now. I also got the inspection done without problems altough the inspector said that probably all the shocks are dead on this car( comfrot spheres )

It is not unusual for inspectos to be lacking in knowledge on Citroens. One MoT guy said there was an issue with the headlight being off calibration (on a BX), and was going to fail it. The owner started the engine, and the MoT idiot watched as the BX rose to a level height.
