Citroen Xsara 'Picasso' Hdi Door microswitch

Can anyone help me, please? I cannot locate the microswitch which completes the circuit for the courtesy light inside the car when the driver's door is opened. There does not appear to be the 'usual' sort of switch with which I'm familiar, together with its door-operated pushrod.

Its connected to the latch/ locking mechanism in the edge of the door if its anything like the 206,
