Firstly.. bx never got the 1.9 td.. they were the 1.8 (1769cc) td engine.. visually identical and same bhp but torque figures different between the two engines..

You sure? Just looked up both cars and directgov has them as 1905cc.

I had to build my own :) , though there were rumors of a few very late estates with them.
BXs since 1993 built 1.9 TZD turbo, got a S2 Xantia estate, brilliant car! 2013, Xantia HDI LX 110 2000 new car with 122,000, l C2 HDI Rusty rocket, C3 Picasso HDI new to me.

Then they aint turbos.. they were 1905cc n/a called either tgd and later 1905cc txd ...

T never stood for turbo.. if it was turbo then it had TURBO on the badge.

Bx were always intercooled with the cooler ontop of the engine.

Anyway.. ill go and look at the ads now..

Am i sure!! Lol.. number one TXD clearly shows the air intake straight to inlet manifold.. 1905cc Non turbo..
Number two.. txd hatch.. also non turbo. .. questioning my bx knowledge? ???

DVLA gets a lot wrong....according to them I own the one and only Xantia V6.Activa Turbo 3.0ltr in the UK..:)

......must get a chrome Turbo sticker cus it must be true :)

Ahh but dvla ARE correct on this instant they are both 1905cc but N/a.

I once applied a Turbo sticker to my Reliant Robin, nicely alongside the Robin 750 logo, a young policewoman wrote it down verbatim, the policeman with her had a good titter :)
