I had sold these to a CCC member and just about to post them when I hear the poor chap passed away. So they're available again.
For sale- Champagne colour velour CX seats - don't think they're Pallas but standard saloon - likely early 80s. Good condition with plump cushioning. Little bit of grubbiness from a nearby 2CV exhaust pipe - cleaned them but need more work. Fabric in good unworn condition.
These are free for the cost of postage (about £40 Parcel force to UK destinations except highlands and islands). They're packed and ready to send - I just need to change the address labels.
PM me if interested.
Graeme

Re: Series 1 CX seats for grabs
Hi Graeme
I am currently restoring a Series 1 Pallas 2.4 inj and the interior is rather poor. While the velour seats would be a vast improvement on what is there I would need matching rears as well.
I am not able to PM you but I would be interested in getting an idea of anything Series 1 that you may be offering.
Regards

Re: Series 1 CX seats for grabs
Hiya, I'm not sure I have anything alse for S1 - might have a few electrical things but I need everything else to keep my S1 on the road!
The seats would give you good internal cushions you could use if you wanted to change the upholstery colour later on. These are wrapped up and ready to go - just need an address to send them to ! I can send photos of them

Re: Series 1 CX seats for grabs
Thanks Graeme
My own seat cushions are good, The upholstery has suffered on the drivers seat, the material is torn pretty badly on the side panel and the corresponding front piece, I reckon I could sweet talk the wife into sewing in a repair panel but matching material is the problem. I have some rather nice vinyl that I am going to put across the top of the rear seat where the sun has done its work. In a worst case scenario I suppose that I could put in vinyl panels on both sides of the front seats but it would be a gamble as it could turn out ugly.

Re: Series 1 CX seats for grabs
Oh gosh graham
When I read your description of the seats as velour I had a different seat entirely in mind. I saw a photobucket link which may be your seats and I reckon they are the same material as my beat up ones. This is a link to pics of my one http://s256.photobucket.com/user/mikehn ... sort=2&o=3" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; If they are the same I would be very interested in getting them. I am on the wrong side of the Irish sea unfortunately but using parcel motel for delivery may help me with the cost of delivery. If you think they are a match would you mind advising me of the approx dimensions of the "parcel" so I can check Parcel Motels rates.
Thanks
Mike

Re: Series 1 CX seats for grabs
Hiya, they're not exactly the same material as yours appear to be the standard 'Pallas' type whereas the pair I have are the 'Athena' type. But they're similar.
Here's a photo gallery of them: http://s139.photobucket.com/user/U_kill ... for%20sale" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
