Blocking up a Xantia's suspension

Unread post by Stickyfinger »

Hi guys

I am getting ready to dump the green shell which will free up space for me to bring the Activa S1 donor into position.

Over time I will still like to keep moving it about every now and again, to do this I will need/like to keep it high on the suspension.

So the question is....How/What can I use to keep it up off the deck ?

I could do, the car just needs a little welding to the floor :)

the rear end you just remove the spheres with the wheels off the ground, place something like a long bolt/length of broom stick into the cylinder and screw the sphere back on,
the fronts you need to with the car on high wedge something ( a length of timber ) between the lower arm and the underside edge of the strut top
