my 98 1.9td drivers door has dropped so much so that it is catching the rear door as it closes. there appears to be play on the bottom hinge although the weld is solid to the door post outer, it still moves, any advise gratefully received.

i have read the article with great interest. Do you know of any step by step instructions on how to repair the weld. I am guessing that the hinge would need to be drilled and then puddle welded to the inner structure. does anyone no if this is correct?
