I've used Footman James in the distant past, for DSs, but has anyone any input on getting agreed value insurance for a CX Turbo?
The 'market value' is, of course, nil!
I could just Meercat it cheaply, but this wouldn't cover all but minimum stuff.I wonder if Aviva do 'Classics'?
Hoping to be back Citroening soon!

Request an agreed valuation from the CCC(if you're a member, use that to get quote, I'm wth Adrian Flux. very good rates, mines even insured with the NOS declared too.

Well BOTH those companies quoted AT LOT more over what I ended up paying RH Specialist Insurance with an agreed 2k+ on the v6.Activa ~~5k miles + 90 days Europe + recovery - £150 excess...in the case of FJ it was so shockingly different I even checked back.

Re: Agreed value Classic Car Insurance for CX?
the decider for me was the NOS... finding someone that would take it on
I was insuredfor years through one of the CCC schemes, when I asked about the NOS, they came back with an aditional 75 quid. I didn't think that was bad to be free from worry. I said that isn't bad on top of the existing mods... what mods are those then? oh dear... I had delcared all the mods at the time the club did the appraisal for me. After a while they confrmed I had told them of the mods and asked me to find another insurer. On to Adrian Flux, they came back cheaper.. the real funny part was, the car would be stilll be underwritten by equity redstar
