Engine number on a V6 Xantia ??

Where tf is it....I covered in oil and still not luck !

I changed my oil and filter yesterday, I think I saw it stamped on the block near the filter (viewed from underneath)

yEP....Tiny little "POINT NUMBERS"....with added powder corrosion and oil/road crap....

They don't STAMP them with a big hammer and punch like they used too

They're on the timing belt covers as well. Look at the plastic covers when standing beside the front right wheel and you'll see it on a metal plate riveted to the covers on the front bank of cylinders.

Removed at some point, cover has been chnged....hence the big search
