Weird rp number

Unread post by elma »

I just noticed something strange about my estate.
It is a P reg with an rp of 5319.

So it was registered in 1996 but made on 2nd June 1991?
I must have something special here, either the first ever Xantia or the RP scribbler made a mistake.
Malcom is looking up the birth certificate so hopefully that will give some explanation.

It is smudged, I think it should be read as 6919 19 October 1995. You should be able to check by putting the VIN into service.Citroen.com

Unfortunately service Citroen won't let me on. I'm sure Malcolm will succeed though. I think you're right about the smudge, I tried a few possibilities but got 1994 and 1999. You're deductions make more sense.

That took a minute to go in, is your parrot real?

Yes.. I am assured that Malcolm's parrot is real! Shouts the cat by name and does all sort of other funny stuff! I've met Malcolm many times, sadly not had the pleasure of meeting the parrot yet.

Freddys gorgeous, I'd love to live with a parrot. It'd have to be a cheeky, naughty one with a dark sense of humour.

It is like having children, early on they are wonderful, then the teenage years...naughty OR WHAT !....then they settle and become friends/foot warmers/hats.

Malcolm, what make/year/colour is your one mate ?

My brother kept an aviary full of birds in Australia, when he went in to clean up one parrot kept saying "Whatya doin dick head."

I particularly like going seeing the owls up at the local aviary. Had I a larger garden I'd have a couple myself. I've always wanted one. Beautiful animals and "tame" ones can be kept, kind of, as "pets" providing you realise they're still a bloody raptor which likes killing things, are a moody creature and have bloody big claws..

The thing I like about Greys, they have a similar life span to humans (from Glasgow) and thus have the same development ages over 50-70 years....they are a true generation pet that your kids may even inherit.
My cousins daughter will have Freddy when I am dust/wormfood

Interesting. I know nothing at all about them. I've never really been interested in them that much. I do quite like "odd" pets.. obviously ferrets, being a Northerner, polecats.. I'd like a skunk but the missus says NFW..
