Xantia AL4 gearbox - Detach and changing filter

Hi

The O-ring seal of the crankshaft is leaking, so I have to detach the AL4 to replace the seal with a new one. It will be helpful if one can answer the following

1) One the gear is detached how complicated is it to change the filter, any thread describing it ?
2) Any precautions when detaching the gear ?
3) On top of changing the filter I'am going to replace the valves to a Warner Borg ones , given I have a Lexia how can I know if the ECU firmware I have is suitable for the Warner Borg valves
4) How to adjust the selector index spring
5) I am going to drain the ATF from the torque converter as well, what is the correct procedure to re-fill the oil ? How many liters required ?

Hi Zohar,

Can't help you I'm afraid, as my knowledge is only of manual gearboxes, which is what most of us have. There will not be many on the Forum with detailed knowledge of the AL4, although I'm sure CitroJim will have something to say when he sees your post.
