Reverse lights on my 106 not working :( help plz!

hi, i have a 94 106 xnd, i brought this car a couple of months ago and since i have had it, my reverse lights have not worked at all, i have changed both bulbs and the light fuse (i think i did!) could anyone on here help me out as i dont want to be pulled for not having working reverse lights! many thanks, Rob

it sounds like a possible reverse light switch fault which is found screwed into the top or the front of the gearbox,remove the 2 pin plug from it & bridge out the terminals with a paperclip or similar & switch the ignition on if the lights come on its a faulty switch,if not you need to check if there is an ignition feed at one of the terminals of the switch then take it from there,try that first.

hi, thanks for the advice...the only problem was, im thick and had changed the wrong bulb! oops, can go down as a learning mistake lol
