1.4 hdi turbo solenoid.

New to the forum, my 1.4 hdi 208 came up about 2000 miles ago with a few fault codes for low turbo pressure and p codes suggesting it was the turbo solenoid. The waste gate actuator goes crazy Which is usually solenoid. I read the fault codes on diagbox and printing them off as I thought that would be ok, but apparently the code needs to be on to do a diagnostic Session. Is there any way to bring back the fault code for low turbo pressure? I've tried disconnecting the vacuum pipe between the solenoid and turbo. Thanks in advance

Not sure what the problem is? If you clear the code and the problem doesn't exist then no code will be set again. However, if you are still having problems, then the code should be set. Have you actually got a running problem?

Hi Richard, slight loss in power and slight from in mpg as the turbo doesn't fully boost which I think is the cause of slight lack in power.
