Seat Swap??

Hello.
How easy is it to swap seats over for one Citroen model to another Citroen model? say from a XM to an AX? do the seats detatch from the frames? the same way as Peugeot seats do? will XM seats fit into an AX? anyone know?

I doubt it very much! Once you have taken the controls off the side of the XM seats then they are exactly the same size as the BX ones. Problem is the seats in the AX are pretty hard up against the doors (or at least they are int eh 'sporty' seat elation!). Think you will be pushing it. You could always get AX ones recovered, or get the later sprotier seats if the ones you have are a bit naff?

I just fitted 5 dr "volcane" seats into my Avantage complete with door trims and steering wheel. All fitted perfectly.

XM I think is a large saloon? AX is much smaller I think? So you may have to saw a foot or two of the sides of your seats to get them in?

just pondering really. thought it wuold be a long shot. i was just a bit bored of the standard GT seats[:(]
