Strut gaiters
Is it normal for them to be a pain to refit? Gave my struts a spray as i had the jerky rising, but it took me the best part of half an hour to get them to sit properly, was impossible without putting the car back on normal

Re: Strut gaiters
I haven't had any problems as such, but Gracie is an S2 Xantia. I wonder if there are differences in the gaiters.

Re: Strut gaiters
One side is ahowing signs of needing changjng at some point soon, but even the good side was a struggle. Almost like it can't hold onto the ring of the strut top.

I'm not sure. I never had an issue when I used to grease the struts on my S1 Activa. Put it in high, pull boots down. Grease. Pull boots back up.Hell Razor5543 wrote:I haven't had any problems as such, but Gracie is an S2 Xantia. I wonder if there are differences in the gaiters.

Re: Strut gaiters
When I replaced mine they were a pain to fit at the top as they were a really tight fit, the bottom was easy.
