rear window wont close

Hi all,
i know i posted about this before but there have been a few frustrating developments.i changed the drivers door control module ,all the switches the bsi ecu ignition and key reader i also tested another regulator and motor and still cant get it to work i can hear the motor in both regulators click but they will only move down and wont return.Hence my frustration.any suggestions as to what could cause a motor to act like this

try this....

Switch on ignition, repeatedly press the down button until its all the way down then hold it for 5secs, switch to the up position and repeatedly pull up the switch till the window is up and hold for 5. Press down, hold it down, the window should open....hold it for 10 secs, go up, it should now go up ....I had to do it about 5-6 times on my Mk1 before it settled down

just an update lads it turned out that the regulator and the loom were nackered so changed out rather than trying to find what wire was broken.just have to put it back together now just one question would i get away with using bolts and lock nuts

hi lads
the anti pinch wouldn't work as it kept opening when the window got to the top puzzled me for weeks tried the button reset. bsi reset and ended up pushing window to top manually and disconnecting the loom at the door hey presto everything cushty again.
