Another instrument panel (illumination) bulb has blown. I removed the instrument cluster from the VSX while stripping it, but that's a lot different to just removing the cluster to change bulbs as the steering wheel, stalks and switch bar had already been removed! Could some kind soul give me the basic steps to remove just the cluster please?
Taking the steering wheel off isn't a major problem as I want to swap it any way and re-align it too! I'll buy a box of bulbs and change the lot as a precaution.
Thanks.

Re: Removing Xantia S1 instrument panel
You should remove the steering wheel, cowling, then the trim strip below the instruments to expose the lower screws for the instrument pack. Don't forget the screw at the top. Pull down the plastic tab surrounding the top screw while pulling it towards you to release the instrument pack, they are sometimes quite firmly stuck.

Re: Removing Xantia S1 instrument panel
Thank you kindly for the instructions. I'll have a look at my spare panel and see how many and what comprise a complete set. Should be good for another 19 years
