Xantia tyre choice

Unread post by Zelandeth »

So the front tyres on my Xantia are getting pretty close to the limit, so will be getting changed soon.

Before I just shop around for a reasonable deal, does anyone have any particular recommendations or cautions? I know the Saab for instance is quite sensitive to what rubber is on it, but not all cars seem to be as radically affected.

Have always in the past found Kumho tyres to perform perfectly acceptably without a silly pricetag. Saab is always fitted with Uniroyals if I can get hold of them, but their range in 185/65 R15 (ironically same as the Xantia) isn't as wide as it used to be.

Given that it currently has four different tyres on it, will probably just do the lot.

Thoughts?

I know that CitroJim reckons that BF Goodrich are pretty good.

Never had a xantia but the vredestien I had on the first c5 were amazing, and Goodyear efficient grip performance were also brilliant on my c4.
