Fuel Cap Sensor replaced but fault is not clearing

Hi,

I recently bought a 2006 407 2.0HDI and I am working through its issues.
I finaly managed to get pp2000 running and that led me to the fault of a open circuit at the fuel cap sensor. Today I replaced that one but when I tried to clear the fault it just comes back instantly.
Any suggestions on what I should do next?
