Re: electric windows
Probably better to put your car in your post, or better still, in your signature in your profile. There are lots of owners with loads of different cars and it's not possible to remember what car everyone has. Makes it easier for the experts to give advice.

Re: electric windows
I think you should be able to activate the window via the Lexia - does this work? You should also be able to check that the window switch is sending the correct message via the Lexia. Failure of the switch is now unknown - replacement is also dear....

Re: electric windows
Simple way to check...take the switch apart and swap over the internals to test....(if you need a spare, check the type number, they look the same but are not wired the same inside)
I took mine apart as it was full of crud stopping it working, I had to repair a damaged plastic tag as well.

Don't think they talk that early and the anti pinch is via the motor (?)darbuck wrote:Its a 03 c5 I tried activating through lexia but won't respond to input however it responds to the door switch

Re: electric windows
just thought id update this thread as it is important for anyone else having this problem , it turned out the regulator and loom on the rear passenger door had failed, after i installed these it kept closing until the anti pinch activated and opened again automatically, also when i had it up as far as possible would open when it rained as you can imagine a pain in the rear end .I discovered that disconnecting the plug in the door jamb {i.e in the rubber grommet} exactly at the top of travel and reconnecting was like doing a local reset as it has worked perfectly since i had tried several bsi resets following to the letter the reset procedure to no avail.
