larger 1.9td intercooler

i have heard that fitting a larger intercooler like allard do increases the power without touching anything else, is this true?
what power increases can you get and is the engine capable of handleing more power?
Does anyone know how much bigger allars interrcoolers are because i can get one made from a firm up where i live for under £100 and they will make them to my spec?

No, sorry, a larger intercooler on its own isn't going to give you more power. It will give you a cooler, and therefore denser, charge, which means you will be able to increase the max fuelling on the pump without getting smoked out.
