I think the ECU's may need coding to the car, CitroJim is the man to ask........ and I'm sure will be along shortly

If they just needed coded to the car I would have thought you would still get communication with them, after all how would you program them in the first place with no communication ? if it is a matched set ECU, BSI & transponder chip it shouldn't need coding at all.

what car is it ? why was the ECU & BSI replaced ? were you able to get communication with the previous ECU & BSI ? have you tried your lexia on another car ?

The features that don't work may e.g. rear electric windows, may not have been fitted to the car the BSI was removed from. Sometimes when the immobiliser function is removed from an engine ECU it will not report fault codes or may not communicate properly with a diagnostic system. I have come across this with a major German manufacturer. Your problem is that you have no idea what has been done with these units before you got them. If you really need to change them better get replacements from a local breaker where you can try and swap. With regard to your original problem,I find the biggest offender to be the connections on the bm34. This is particularly true of high current connections such as the supply to the in tank pump. I have found many BSIs blamed in the wrong. A visual inspection often is all the diagnosis that is required.

sorry just copped post all is working perfect you have to replace the ignition lead as well. turned out the battery fuse on the bsi was blown that's why it wouldn't connect to lexia.
