The blaupunkt radio in my xantia works great and the lcd display is full operational and lights up fine, sadly that's the only bit that does, come sundown none of the buttons light up at all.
Is it a fuse or bulbs? I'm no good at soldering etc.

If its anything like the one in the XM its a pig of a job to change and I was a TV engineer for 50 years. You do need to be a bit nifty with a soldering iron, that is if you can get a bulb for it.

Re: Blaupunkt radio no lighty up!
I had a go at replacing the lamps on my Xantia Blaupunkt a couple of years ago. It is a bit fiddly. If I remember correctly, they run in series, the problem was that I bought the incorrect voltage lamps so it was all a bit dim!
In my opinion, unless you're struggling for things to do on a Sunday afternoon, are patient and decent with a soldering iron, get a replacement radio.
