Not really a classic this one but it is listed in an Antiques and General sale so may be missed by many regular car buyers and thus could be a bargain. Not for me due to the engine but it is French and may appeal to someone: :-D

Here's a candidate for my 'the one that got away club'. I liked these when they were launched and still do but no room for it, either financially or spacially!! :-D

It was only ten days ago that this car had an outing on the FCF here and then this pops up this morning! A chance to relive a childhood maybe? :-D

I'm always astonished at how much some people will spend to refurbish what was essentially a 'banger' . :-D 10 grand on a car that you would have struggled to sell for £100 in the seventies.

The classics auctions are full of similar type tales if you read the particulars of how much spent on the refurbs and restorations. Hardly ever realised in the sale price :-D

Now if a black Morris Cowley turns up, that's definitely going in the Familiarity Phenomenon and unlikely Coincidences thread :-D

Sorry Mick, no interest in that, too small (can't fit mountain bikes in the back) only twp doors (rejected a Megane for that) and too many ££££££'s.

Probably going to be this or one of its brethren.
With a vague possibility of a C4.

In that case Steve, a C3 Picasso or C4 Picasso is the only sensible choice ;) Excellent for bike carrying duties...

Nice cars the 6's, I've had a 'normal' one and the Miller version and both were almost as good as my current Subaru. The only difference being the handling when you are in a hurry!! :-D

Again, not for me Jim. I like car shaped cars. Upset my brother when I said I didn't like his CR-V. Standard C4 is on the verge of acceptability.
I quite like my eldest's C3, very pleasant to drive, not much use for mountain bikes though.

Never in a hurry Mick. I would have loved a Xedos 9, very pretty car.
Did look at Foresters previously but they were all too expensive and had reservations about the head gaskets.
