An absolute no-brainer...

The Avantime :D Luxury with a well-known gorgeous V6 engine and practicality in spades. Great for ferrying parkrun kit and bikes around!

Here is a chance to get some cheapish open air motoring as well as a fun Sunday driver and be able to show it at car shows! I fancied one myself back in the 80s but bought my Lancia Beta Spyder instead :-D

Popped over to UKTV the other day and came across this series which I found a nice gentle and interesting watch, with a decent bunch of genuinely likeable people running the Classic Car Garage "tinker Days"

I wonder if Mick in particular has come across the garage which is in Enfield. The team is led by Colin Denton.

No I have not seen the garage but I did watch a couple of the first series and found them a little too patronising for my liking. Nothing wrong with them, it's just me, but I don't like being taught anything from exceedingly first principles eg If I were going to learn to drive a car I would not want my first instruction to be 'open the driver's door'!! :-D

Gosh! Is that a Left-hooker V6 Peter? Looks immaculate and factory fresh and in the best colour too 8-)

That's very strong money for what's most likely a 2 litre TCT Peter. Although being LHD, it could be an HDi or a 2.0 litre 16 Valve as both those engine variants were available on the Continent although never in RHD form.

That's a very 70s colour!

The EFI system can be a bit of 'fun' IIRC, It's Bosch D-Jetronic and very voltage sensitive...
