Hydractive2 error faults

Post by dei9 »

Hi, as you are all aware, i'm trying to get my hydractive ecu working, but some say it may be stuck in hard mode because of a fault, but if there are faults, the light would come on apparently (well according to the hydractive training manual), so if the lights aren't on then it should be fault free, so i'm asking if the training manual is right?

Err not necessarily, on some of my Xantia's I've had Hydractive faults due to a blown fuse (IIRC fuse 8 in the box behind the battery) then on another one of the VN05's burnt out so I soldered in a new one, job done. In neither of these instances did a light illuminate on the dash or Hydractive switch.

If there are errors, the light on the button will not light on ignition.
If there are no errors, the light is on for ... let say 3 seconds and then goes off.

Nah, there aren't any lights on the button, only if i switch it on, so I think I may be seeing Paul-R to get a Lexia on it to clear the faults up and see where it takes me. Thanks.
