407 PEUGEOT LIMIT CONTROL

Hi, I am new here so hello to everyone. I have a question about cruise and limit control in my 407 1.6 hdi saloon. My 407's model is Dec 2004. I put the cruise and limit control a few days ago. The cruise control works perfect but the limit control cant be found. They told me that I have to update the programme. Is any possibility after update to loose and the cruise control function?
