Hi I'm Alex and I own a 2003 Berlingo multispace, 1.4 petrol. Recently we've had some issues with it, sensor on top of the gearbox, horn stopped working etc and Bertie's cost us so much money. Anyway now the right indicator has started intermittently working or just not working at all and I don't feel safe driving it with no indicator. Have any of you guys any idea what this could be? Even when I do get a flash of light its not like your normal indicator.
I've dealt with the indicator self cancelling and going onto left since I got the car but before anyone says its the stalk on this issue the left hand side is working fine so its getting a connection.
Thanks in advance for any help.
More Berlingo issues for you guya,..

Hi Alex
That sounds almost certainly like it is the COM2000 unit - sits behind the wheel and has both stalks on it. Failure is well known... There is a guy in Bradford can maybe repair it -search COM2000 repair on e-bay. Otherwise replacement required. There are many variants - if you post up the last 8 digits of the VIN we can look up the correct part number for yours.
