Citroen C8 Interior/exterior lighting problem

Greetings!

We have a 05/06 C8 that recently started acting strange.
Car Info: C8 - 2005/2006 model, 2.2l HDI, LHD.
Over the last weeks we have had problems with the interior lights staying on when the exterior lights are turned on, the light for climate control also malfunctions and turned on/off from time to time.
The trip computer(clock,date, so on) kept resetting as well.
We tried to disconnect the battery but this did nothing.

Today the car suddenly went mad and all interior lights keep turning on and off, exterior lights keeps blinking(rapidly!) warning hazards go on and off, window wipers got their own life and. well basically everything in the interior do whatever it wants to do. Not entirely sure what triggers it but it goes on either when u connect the battery, starting the car or just turning on the lights.
The car is basically undriveable atm.

Quite a few years ago the rear window wiper fluid started leaking in the right foot-well, around the battery.

had a very similar problem turned out it the bsi

It could be a good idea to go through a BSi reset, as this can clear glitches. The C series Citroens have a lot of electronics, and it is not unheard of for them to throw a wobbly.

And how do i reset it?


EDIT: Nevermind, noticed the link above.
Will try this tomorrow morning.

Checked the battery and it showed 10.3 volt
Charged it up and seems the problems are gone.
The light for the AC display is dead tho, common problem or?
