Xantia 'how to' tutorials, in french but translatable

Post by charentejohn »

Looking for EGR changing info and found this http://xantia.voila.net/index.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; which is a picture guide to various jobs.
You may already know of it but pictures are good quality and lots of jobs covered. All in french but you can just translate if needed, but the pictures say a lot.

Never mind what he is doing but where did he get the screwdriver handled socket extension from ? http://xantia.voila.net/tuto_remplaceme ... uffage.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

That's a very useful site John. Good find :-D

I've seen those screwdriver handled extensions somewhere in the UK. Very useful..

The one in the pictures may be a Facom...

Halfords is where I got mine. They're often included in their own=brand socket sets which, despite me abusing over the last umpteem years has never let me down yet.

ie http://www.halfords.com/motoring/garage ... et-set-1-4" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

That flexible drive "coupling" in the French set looks to be a useful item. Accepted that it may not be able to transmit much torque.

Can be referred to as a 1/4" drive spinner, eg

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/12454-BRAND-N ... 5d34d891a8" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

£6.77 + post

(I'm not the seller!)
