Wiring under seat

Post by swiveleyedgit »

Hi all, had a look under the driver's seat to see if the cables are in place to retrofit a cd changer to my C5. There are 2 unused plugs, one is orange with 2 rows of holes ,6 or 7 in each row, and the other is blue with a single row of holes. Does anyone know If either of these the correct layout for the appropriate changer? TIA.

Which year car ??
The Changers look the same but do not work exchanged between years, it depends on your head unit.
The fitting is the large one and is specific to the changer, a leaver down to lock type?
The same type from Peugeot one fit as well and can be cheaper on FleaBay for some reason.

It's a 2004 car Stickyfinger, the head unit is the single cd slot type, an RD3 according to Citroen Service, part number 6560 z7. I'm not sure how the block connects to be honest, I'll have a look tomrrow.

I haven't bought a changer yet, Citroen Service says I need a 9655260180 unit for an rd3 radio, there's a couple on fleabay. I assume there's a cable that runs from the plug that's already under the seat to the unit itself?
