CITROEN XSARA PICASSO hdi 2.0

hi having prob with back brake lights,top light works but both side lights don't bulbs are ok and fuse seems ok to if its right one iam looking at,,car is CITROEN XSARA PICASSO hdi 2l 03

Are the brake lights in the tailgate? If so the wires between the tailgate and body have probably broken.

On the Xsara Picasso they are on the tailgate pillars, so that wiring would not be an issue. I used to have use of one as a company car (so maintained by the fleet company).

You are sure the bulbs are OK? IIRC they are twin element bulbs.

Are the correct type of bulbs fitted & are they fitted correctly ?

I cheers for replays got it sorted was down to 2 bulbs my mate only looked at one,and says bulb was ok so I had a look on other side and it was blown lol,new bulbs in now working 100%
