Hi, the centre part of my exhaust has gone, it's coming away from the centre box, how easy is it to change the middle section ?

Re: Exhaust ?
It depends on how rusted the clamp bolts are. I have heard of ones that came undone easily, and others where saws were required. Normally the easy ones had been heavily coated with copper slip grease (which is designed with high temperatures in mind), as the fitting mechanic was smart enough to plan ahead. Other than that it should be fairly straight forward.

Re: Exhaust ?
I dislike changing exhausts. However, if you buy replacement clamps, and have an angle grinder or Dremel with a cutting wheel to hand, and plenty of space to work under the car they're not hard to do and I've done many.
Personally, in winter, and only having a driveway and ramps to work with, I'd suck up the cost and take it to a local exhaust place.
