I would suggest asking a nearby Lexia owning forum member to take a look, and see what (if any) faults are logged;

Re: interesting warning ( c5 2.0 hdi )
Is it indicating that the keys are still in the ignition switch wnen the door is opened?
Re: interesting warning ( c5 2.0 hdi )
No, sound for keys is different. Tray to remove negative terminal from battery for 3-5 minutes.

Re: interesting warning ( c5 2.0 hdi )
It is not the keys are still in the igniton (keys in & door open).
It is not lights are left on (keys off & driver's door open).
In mine these have definately different warnings than heard in the video. Never heard this warning.

Re: interesting warning ( c5 2.0 hdi )
I know what it is. It is the car warning you of a problem that it has no warning of!
Seriously though, I would either arrange a Lexia session, or go through a BSi reset.

Mine too, but then all three of the C5s I've owned have had different warning sounds.VertVega wrote:It is not the keys are still in the igniton (keys in & door open).

OTOH, it's clearly a proper warning sound, and seems to be responding consistently to something, so probably not a glitch triggering an otherwise unused sound embedded in the firmware.
Re: Ynt: interesting warning ( c5 2.0 hdi )
I am using a Bluetooth parrot in car. Maybe it makes this sound I don't know. I will both look with lexia and parrot.
It seen on the video that whenever I open the doors sound comes. Either parrot opens. But I disconnected the screen of parrot nothing changed. I guess some more component of parrot is near the radio.

Re: Ynt: interesting warning ( c5 2.0 hdi )
my parrot dosent make that noise, he usually starts continuously saying "want some" every time we sit down to eat, he also calls all the cats by name, even the ones that dont live with us any longer, plus a huge vocabulary of other words always used in contextibokozan wrote:I am using a Bluetooth parrot in car. Re: interesting warning ( c5 2.0 hdi )
Family mythology says that there were a couple of occasions where a parrot (or a macaw, I don't know which) managed to irritate guests at parties, to the point where they left said party. On one occasion a guest was being a bit condescending about the parrot, going on about how they didn't know what they were saying, etcetera, etcetera. At one point he turned to the parrot and said "You don't really know what you are saying, do you, Polly?", to which he got a response never heard before or since, "F**k off!". Another guest, on saying "Who's a pretty boy, then?" got the answer "Not you, for a start!".
I have heard of an African Grey at an American university that has a large working vocabulary (and knows how to use it). A sceptical reporter heard about said bird, and arranged an interview. Unfortunately the reporter didn't give said bird due credit, and so talked down to it. After a while the parrot got bored, and said (I don't know his real name, so I am using the old standby) "Polly tired now. Going to nest" and flew off to his perch, where he remained until the reporter left, when he then headed off to see people who were more intelligent and accepted him for who he really was.

Re: interesting warning ( c5 2.0 hdi )
I'd say that noise is almost certainly coming from the Parrot kit, mines makes a very similar noise sometimes if the phone doesent connect. disconnecting the screen only wont stop it, you need to find the blue control box & unplug it there.
the fact that it does it when the door opens suggests that the kit is fitted incorrectly, sounds like live the ignition live wire of the parrot kit is wires to the VAN+ supply of the radio.
