Part no.

Post by kieran.l »

Hello,

Anyone know the Citroen part number (and correct name even) of the anti-sink valve for an Xantia (it's an L-reg). Also the rear height corrector.

I'm trying to find these for my uncles car.

Thanks,

Kieran

i presume its non hydractive, in which case here is price and part No.'s of both parts

Part Number Description Quantity Price excl. VAT Price incl. VAT Total incl. VAT Selection
0000529125 CNTL MECHANISM 170.07 GBP 204.08 GBP 204.08 GBP

0000529301 VALVE 69.32 GBP 83.18 GBP 83.18 GBP

although its not usually the actual height corrector at fault, but the height corrector linkage's/turrets seized/binding,

these can more often than not be freed off with lots of lubing working lubing working lubing working lubing working lubing working lubing working ,
best done with the unit on the bench for a long term fix that is,

the anti sink valve usually suffers from an O ring letting go, these can be sorted just by fitting a new one

Thanks Malcolm for those numbers and myglaren for the guide. We have a go at cleaning and lubricating the height correctors in that case.

So when you say O ring, can you describe it further? Can the replacement only be got from Citroen or would it be a more standard item?

citroen do not list the O ring for the anti sink valve, but one of the hydraulic pump O rings fit, cant remember which of the two different sizes fit but view the thread below

open the thread link then scroll down to citrojims post with pump drawing
