What type of bulbs?
Have been using H7 55W bulbs but can I can use 100W Xenon or 35W HID bulbs?

Re: What type of bulbs?
This would strongly suggest you are limited to 55W light bulbs on the road (I have heard that rally teams use 100W, but as they are not driving on public roads that are open to the public at that time, this is not an issue);

Re: What type of bulbs?
I think the 100W would burden the current electrical system (mostly wiring), so without some adjustments and modifications, it wouldn't be a wise idea on the long run (unless you want to risk setting the car on fire) ...

Re: What type of bulbs?
That is also mentioned in the item I linked to, but it appears that legally in the UK you are restricted to 55W light bulbs.

Re: What type of bulbs?
How can I find if the car will take 55W HID bulbs?

I think not only the UK, but the entire EU is 55W restricted, everything beyond that is considered off-road use ...

Re: What type of bulbs?
Which bulbs does your car take? In the past Lidl did some very good Tesla light bulbs, either with a strong blue tinge, or supposed to be 50% brighter than normal light bulbs. I have used them in the past, and I did find they gave a longer field of light. However, IIRC, Lidl now only (when they get them in) carry H4 and H7 bulbs, for £3.99 a pair. I have raised the point with them that there are still cars on the road that use H1 bulbs.

Re: What type of bulbs?
@ osx - try to contact these guys i.e., they have HID kits, labeled as Citroen C5 ... (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Citroen-C5-08 ... 0671380643" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) ... maybe they know what needs to be done on the car (if anything), before you install the HID bulbs in it ... as for me, I've found the final line in the halogen bulb whiteness and that is Philips DiamondVision ... currently only for low beams (H7), and that really blows away all the other similar bulbs I've tried ...

Re: What type of bulbs?
Stick on a 35w hid kit, can get H7R which is anti dazzle for non projector lights.

Seems to be the best option.
