2008 C5 outside temperature reading on dashboard screen

Does any one know if any of the C5 range come without the temperature gauge on the screen on central navigation screen. I'm asking because I have just bought a 2008 C5 2.0 estate but I can't see any reading for the temperature, in the settings you can choose centigrade or fahrenheight so it looks like it is set up for it. All the clock functions and radio readings work fine on the screen just no temp. reading. Am I missing something that turns it on. I know this is something and nothing but I do like to see the temperature and I do like everything working ok. Thanks in advance for any help and advice.
