citroen c8 fault p0190 fixed

Post by m300td »

hope this may be of help to anyone having a similar problem
it may apply to other citroens such as the c5
on my c8 it would not rev over 3000 rpm with the engine management light on
when I did a code read with lexia I was getting a code of p0190 fuel rail sensor fault
this was traced to the wire from the rail sensor enters the main loom the brown one
had broken (no data back to ecu) where the wires exit from the main loom it had been rubbing on the plastic
cable guide to free up a bit of room where the wires exit I cut about 10mm off the guide
hope this helps someone with a similar fault
