c4 boot not opening
06 c4 boot keeps sticking. The release makes a helluva noise but the boot wont open. This is intermittent but getting worse. I have oiled but still not great. Any ideas?

Hi, take it youve tried climbing into the boot and sticking a screwdriver into the little hole in the latch mechanism to see "how" that operates and sounds.
once opened i'd strip the panelling to see if water ingress has damaged either lock or actuator (if fitted).
The "sticking" could also be "intermittent wiring break" at hinge point on boot lid, take trim off and look at wiring where it hinges through.
