136bhp C5 judder

Post by boristhespie »

My 136bhp C5 (06) occassionally judders. It seems ro be around gear change points but I may be making this up. But it will take to pulling back/juddering for a while. Next drive ok. Worried i may stop somewhere. Any ideas?

I should say it judders throughout one journey eg. To work in the morning but will be berfectly fine on the journey home at night. Not consisten but it is very pronounced when it does happen.

Manual?
Dreaded Dual Mass Flywheel possibly. Engine mount?
The experts will probably want some more detail before advising though.
Rick.

i also have a 136 bhp one and I know it doesn't help but mine does exactly the same at low revs like at 30 mph in 4th gear or when changing gear it sometimes feels like its about to cut out and bumped back to life,

At the weekend i changed my fuel an air filter and also put in some diesel treatment and up until now it hasn't done it but that doesn't mean anything as it can go for weeks before it can do it again.I have also had a flywheel and clutch replaced within the last 12 months
