citroen xsara 2001 1.4 LX serpentine belt
My serpentine drive belt snapped on my xsara having attempting to fit a replacement it seems like the belt is "slipping or sticking" has anyone got a belt diagram that they could share with me so that i can ensure that the belt is on the right way

Have a look here http://service.citroen.com/dtt/CDP/code ... icule.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I think you want page 83 in the xsara 2001 manual for the KFW engine.

have had a look at the diagrams and the alternator seems to be in the wrong position and they are using 2 belts, on my vehicle there is one belt feeding all auxiliary units

Do you know if it is a KFW engine? I was assuming.
On my 2003 Xsara, the engine code is in the middle of the VIN number, the 4 characters before the last eight digits.
If you post the last 8 digits of the VIN, I can put that in service citroen which will give a lot of details of what was fitted when it left the factory.
