Well, having just done the front pads for the second time, the drums are probably coming up for renewal.
So, a few questions. Grandfather had the car from new and the wife has had it from 15K, (now on 65K) so all history is known and the car is fairly clean, when you come to pulling bits apart.
Where is the best place to trolley jack it up, bearing in mind, I don't have any wooden V-grove blocks or rubbers pads to use.
Are the drums likely to be in need of replacement and if so, are there any tips, like get the kit (springs) to go with it, you'll need the puller, watch out for this etc.
Also, I want to turn both front wheels at the same time (to check them and a different issue to the rear brakes), where's best to centrally jack it up.
