Xantia Sinking

Xantia Sinking

I have a problem with the front. When engine is knocked off the front goes down to the lowest height. Even parked in max height.
2000 Xantia 2. 2.0i 16v

Xantia 2.0 Hdi 90hp 1999 only 189,000 and rising!!!!!!! Moved on to a new home
C3 1.4 petrol (SWMBO)
Xantia TD 1.9 Mk 2 Estate LX 1998 model over 210,000 miles now and still rising!!!!!!!!!!!!! now deceased 17/12/2010.

If it isn't a 'sinker' (very early model) then it is most likely a leaking or non-functional anti-sink valve.

An indication of how quickly it goes down would be very helpful.

Is it seconds, minutes, hours or days ?

Thanks a lot kenny. Sorry for the delay in replying. My car is a Xantia 2 YOM 2000 with a 2.0i 16v engine. This doesn't happen all the time. Some times it sinks and some times it doesn't. When it does it happens in about 10 minutes time.
